Imagine making a difference without lifting a finger each month. With payroll giving, you can donate directly to Headway Jersey straight from your salary. It’s simple, consistent, and powerful.

Here’s how it works:

  • Choose to donate a regular amount each month (e.g., £10).

  • Your employer collects this through payroll from January to December.

  • At the end of the year, if your total donation is £50 or more, it qualifies as a lump sum donation.

  • That means Headway Jersey receives your full donation PLUS 25% extra from the Tax Office!

To set up a payroll giving scheme, ensure:

  • Headway Jersey is a Jersey-registered, tax-exempt charity (we are!).

  • You collect donations and make a single annual payment to us.

  • You submit a schedule with each donor’s:

    • Name

    • Address

    • Tax Reference

    • Annual donation amount

Important: You must keep donation records for 6 years.
