“Following the success of our Rehabilitation Programmes we have decided to focus more time on these initiatives. From the beginning of the year the opening times in the week have been changed to allow us to increase opportunities for our members.
The centre now opens much longer on Mondays and Wednesdays for any members who wish to attend
and we have incorporated a music therapy session on a Monday afternoon. We have also added another swimming therapy session on Mondays as the Wednesday session is proving not only very popular but also extremely therapeutic. Tuesday is now dedicated to rehabilitation all day as well as the crafts workshop in the morning. Thursdays have seen the introduction of Life Skills sessions helping to enable members to regain some of the skills they have lost. Art Therapy continues on Fridays. Unfortunately it has been necessary to close the Centre on Saturdays from now on to enable the charity to focus on these new initiatives. We continue to receive more introductions of brain injury survivors who can benefit from our services and the charity continues to grow.”
